Historical Downtown Blue Ridge:
Take a ride on the historical locomotive located in Downtown Blue Ridge. This 26 mile round trip takes you to some of North Georgia’s most beautiful scenery, and even making a stop in Tennessee! Sit back as you wing along the Toccoa river and enjoy the beautiful Georgia weather. The railway holds events throughout the year. Enjoy a nice walk down Main Street and visit the shops of Downtown Blue Ridge. It’s dotted with antiques shops, boutiques, adventure wear stores and restaurants. Its even home to the Sweet Shoppe, winner of the Food Network series Cupcake Wars!
Waterfalls, Hiking Trails, Lakes and Parks:
This combined 17-mile hiking and mountain biking area is a good place to get out and excerice or adventure with friends and family. Stroll through the beautiful mountain country and stop and take some pictures of Lake Blue Ridge.

This 3,290-acre lake has a maximum depth of 246 feet and is a local attraction that attracts visitors from all around. The lake is dotted with boat ramps, a full-service marina, and designated swimming and picnic areas.
In the center of the Aska Adventure Area, there’s a small getaway where you and your family can take the time to play some mini golf, try your hand at mining for gemstones, and even fish for the variety of fish they keep stocked in their pond.

This historic drive-in theater is a local favorite that attracts guests from all over. Come sit back and watched the big screen while getting a taste of what it was like before the classic movie theater. Try their famous fried Oreos!
This 125-acre property is perfect for a fun time with the family. This seasonal ropes course is the first to come to Blue Ridge and is a local favorite. They also provide seasonal zipline tours.
Sour through the trees and over the mountains on a 6,000 foot combined zip line tour. This 75 foot high ride covers a 160-acre property, giving it’s guests a ride of a lifetime!
Seasonal Events
The Saturday after Thanksgiving Day is always exciting in Blue Ridge. Come join the local community as we celebrate this time of year with exciting annual events such as a parade, pictures with Santa, and the lighting of the “Giant Tree” which, this year, stood 27-feet tall! This event is great for the whole family and has activities for people of all ages!
Come visit over 200 vendors in the Downtown Blue Ridge Park each spring and look and purchase their beautiful, one-of-a-kind, handmade artwork.
